Questions candidates ask

Do I need a Florida insurance license to apply?
Yes, for both roles. Medicare sales requires an active Florida 2-15 (Life, Health & Variable Annuity) or 2-40 (Health) license. Life sales requires a 2-14 (Life including Variable Annuity) or 2-15. Non-resident licenses from other states are a plus. If you are not licensed yet, apply anyway and say so. We will point you to the fastest path and let you know when a seat opens.
Is this an on-site job or remote?
On-site at our office in Lantana, Florida, in Palm Beach County. Remote is considered for agents who have already produced in a licensed phone-sales role.
Where is the CoverageCo office?
1300 S Dixie Hwy, Suite 2, Lantana, FL 33462, a block from the Intracoastal. It is about 15 minutes from West Palm Beach, 8 minutes from Boynton Beach, 12 from Delray Beach and 20 from Boca Raton.
What is AHIP certification and do I need it?
AHIP is the annual Medicare training and certification that carriers require before an agent can sell Medicare Advantage or Part D plans. Medicare agents need the current-year certification. If you do not have it yet, you can complete it before your start date and we reimburse the fee when you pass.
How are agents paid?
Base salary plus uncapped commission on every policy placed, with health, dental and vision coverage, paid time off and paid holidays. The exact figures are written into your offer before you start.
Do you hire agents from West Palm Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Boca Raton?
Yes. The office is in Lantana, central to Palm Beach County, and an easy drive from West Palm Beach, Lake Worth Beach, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Wellington and Boca Raton.
