Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how CoverageCo (The Coverage Company) (“CoverageCo,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a licensed health insurance agency headquartered in Florida, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our services. By using this site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, start a plan match, call, email, or text us, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, household size, ages or dates of birth, income range (used to estimate potential savings), and details about the coverage you’re looking for — such as doctors, prescriptions, or plan preferences you want us to consider.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect basic technical information when you visit — such as IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and general usage data — through cookies and similar technologies. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the site.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Compare health insurance plans and identify options that may fit your household;
  • Contact you about your request — by phone, text message, or email — consistent with your consent;
  • Help you apply for and enroll in coverage, and service your policy after enrollment;
  • Estimate potential savings or subsidy eligibility (estimates are illustrative — eligibility is determined when you apply);
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and services; and
  • Comply with insurance, marketing, and other legal obligations.

3. Calls and text messages (TCPA)

When you submit a form on this site and provide your phone number, you give your express written consent for a licensed CoverageCo agent to contact you by phone call and text message (including through automated technology and prerecorded messages) about health insurance options and your request. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw consent at any time — reply STOP to any text, or tell any agent you’d like to stop being contacted. Full details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.

We do not share your text-messaging opt-in or consent with any third parties for their marketing purposes. Mobile opt-in data is used only to send you the messages you signed up for.

4. How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to serve you:

  • Insurance carriers and the Health Insurance Marketplace — to obtain quotes, check eligibility, and complete enrollment you request;
  • Service providers — companies that help us run our business (such as website hosting, communications, and CRM systems), bound to use your information only on our behalf;
  • Legal and safety — when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of our services.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies necessary for the site to function and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some features.

6. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, consistent with applicable law, including the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by insurance record-keeping laws.

7. Your choices and rights

  • Opt out of texts: reply STOP to any message. Opt out of calls or emails: tell your agent, use the unsubscribe link, or contact us below.
  • Access, correction, deletion: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention requirements) by contacting us below.

8. Health information

We only collect health-related details you choose to share to help compare plans (for example, prescriptions or doctors you want covered). We handle that information with heightened care and use it only for the purposes described in this policy and as permitted by applicable law.

9. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Parents and guardians may, of course, provide household information when seeking family coverage.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and material changes will be posted on this page.

11. Contact us
