Welcome to CoverageCo. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and CoverageCo (The Coverage Company) (“CoverageCo,” “we,” “us”), a licensed health insurance agency headquartered in Florida. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are, and who we are not

CoverageCo is a private, licensed health insurance agency. We help individuals and families compare and enroll in health insurance plans offered through the Health Insurance Marketplace and other products we are appointed to sell. We are not the U.S. government, the federal Health Insurance Marketplace, Healthcare.gov, or a state agency, and we are not an insurance carrier. Insurance is underwritten and issued by the carriers, not by us.

2. Information, not advice

Content on this site, including guides, glossaries, and examples, is for general education. It is not legal, tax, medical, or financial advice, and it is not a complete description of any insurance plan. Plan availability, benefits, provider networks, premiums, and eligibility for savings vary by location, household, and plan year and can change. Always confirm the details of any plan with a licensed agent and in the plan’s official documents before enrolling.

3. Our tools are illustrative

Interactive features on this site, such as savings estimates, plan-tier comparisons, enrollment-window checkers, and plan matching, provide illustrations based on the limited information you enter. They are not quotes, offers of coverage, or eligibility determinations. Actual premiums, subsidies, and eligibility are determined only when you apply.

4. Consent to be contacted by phone and email

When you submit a form with your contact information and accept these Terms, you provide your express written consent for CoverageCo and its licensed agents to contact you about health insurance options and your request by phone call and email, including calls made with automated technology or prerecorded messages, at the number and address you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. You may revoke consent at any time by telling your agent, using an unsubscribe link, or contacting us below.

Submitting a form, providing a phone number, or accepting these Terms does not enroll you in text messaging. Text messages are governed by the separate SMS consent described in sections 5 and 6.

5. SMS Terms & Conditions

CoverageCo may send SMS text messages to website visitors who voluntarily opt in to receive text-message follow-up. Messages may relate to a quote or plan-match request, requested services, appointment scheduling, application and enrollment updates, service of your policy, and customer support.

• Up to 4 messages per month
• Message and data rates may apply
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time
• Reply HELP for help
• Consent is not a condition of purchase, service, or submitting a request
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages

Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and SMS consent information will not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred to third parties, affiliates, or lead generators for marketing or promotional purposes. Full program details are in our SMS Terms & Conditions.

6. Website visitor SMS consent

Website visitors may voluntarily opt in to receive SMS messages by selecting a separate optional SMS consent checkbox when submitting a form on this website. The checkbox is unchecked by default.

Visitors may submit a request, speak with a licensed agent, request services, and enroll in coverage without selecting the SMS consent checkbox.

Providing a phone number, submitting a form, requesting a callback, accepting these Terms, or using the website does not automatically enroll a visitor in SMS messaging.

7. Internal staff SMS notification program

Program name: CoverageCo Lead Notification Alerts

Program description: this SMS program sends internal operational alerts to authorized CoverageCo staff members, licensed agents, or employees when a website visitor submits a form or requests a callback. These alerts help our team respond to inbound requests quickly.

Internal SMS recipients provide their mobile phone numbers directly to CoverageCo and separately consent to receive work-related notifications during onboarding, employment, contractor setup, or by requesting SMS lead alerts from management.

Message frequency varies based on website lead activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. After replying STOP, a recipient may receive one final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS messages from the program unless they opt in again.

8. Privacy

Use of information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose or submit false or misleading information;
• Interfere with the site’s operation, security, or availability;
• Scrape, harvest, or copy content or data except as permitted by these Terms; or
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

10. Intellectual property

This site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by or licensed to CoverageCo and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial license to use the site. Third-party names and logos shown on this site (including insurance carrier marks) are the property of their respective owners; their display reflects carrier appointments and does not imply endorsement of this website by those companies.

11. Third-party links

The site may link to third-party websites (for example, carrier or government sites). We are not responsible for their content or practices; your use of those sites is governed by their own terms and policies.

12. Disclaimers

THE SITE AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVERAGECO AND ITS OWNERS, AGENTS, AND EMPLOYEES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS YOU MAY HAVE UNDER APPLICABLE INSURANCE OR CONSUMER-PROTECTION LAW THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY CONTRACT.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold CoverageCo harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the site or violation of these Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

16. Changes; severability

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date reflects the current version, and continued use of the site means you accept the updated Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
